About the Spirit
Bombay Sapphire is a 40% product made in Wiltshire. Master of botanicals, Ivano Tonutti, doesn't just go the extra mile, he goes an extra thousand miles. He hand-selects the botanicals used in gin and builds personal relationships with each grower. Launched in 1781, this gin is supplied by BBFB.
Juniper

Without Juniper, there would be no gin at all. The origins of gin as we know it date back to 16th century Holland where Juniper and grain spirit were combined to produce a spirit called Genever. These 'berries' have a herbaceous, piney flavour with citrus notes.
Almond

Almond is often used in gin as it binds the other ingredients together and adds to the overall mouth-feel. Where almond is used, the gin will have slight marzipan, nutty and soapy flavours. Almonds are native to the Middle East, but today, most come from the USA.
