Matthew Clark wins two UK eCommerce Awards

We’re thrilled to have won Food & Drink eCommerce Website of the Year and B2B eCommerce Website of the Year at the 2020 UK eCommerce Awards.

Judged by experts from across the eCommerce and technology industry, the UK eCommerce Awards recognise businesses that lead the way in creating outstanding online experiences for customers. It was a brilliant endorsement just to be nominated, and a testament to the people who work to make our site better for our customers each day.

The judges noted that our team had gone ‘to great lengths to improve the experience for customers” and that the Matthew Clark Live “UI is super strong sleek, considered, and easy to use”. These comments follow from the launch of many exciting updates to the platform this year. The biggest of which has been the introduction of a ‘guest checkout’ option, allowing new customers to place an order without an account, but we’ve also improved the site speed, capacity of servers, and search functionality. There’s plenty more to come to over the next year too, as we build the best ordering platform available to the on-trade.

Lisa Hawkins, Head of eCommerce at Matthew Clark said, “We are delighted to receive the awards for Best B2B and Best Food & Drink eCommerce Website. It’s a great acknowledgement of the collaborative efforts across our business, to deliver a great online experience for our customers”.

If you haven’t tried Matthew Clark Live, sign up today and start placing your orders online 24/7. New customers can place guest orders instantly or easily open a full account here. We’d love to know what you think, so do get in touch with your feedback by dropping us an email.
