Matthew Clark and Pernod Ricard UK have teamed up to give UK bartenders the opportunity to win a once in a lifetime trip to Åhus Sweden with Absolut Vodka.
Bartender Battles celebrates the creativity and mastery of cocktail making, giving bartenders across Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland) the chance to show off their skills, regardless of how long they’ve been working in hospitality.
The Details
Commencing on 29th September 2023, the competition will comprise of four rounds. Round 1 invites bartenders from across the UK to make a video of themselves creating and mixing a cocktail using a combination of products and ingredients of their choice - but must include at least 40 millimetres of any Pernod Ricard product. Judges will be looking for creativity and originality.
Entries for round 1 close on 13th October – you have until midnight to submit your entry, otherwise, it won’t be counted! Successful contestants will be contacted via Matthew Clark’s official Instagram account @matthewclarkltd on Monday 16th October, with details of the next round shared then.
Bartenders lucky enough to make it to the final round will be invited to Pernod Ricard HQ in Chiswick for a live head-to-head battle, focused on making creative cocktails using Absolut Vodka.
The Prize
The lucky winner and a friend of their choosing will be taken on an all-expenses paid trip in April 2024. The trip includes a 3-day experience at the Absolut distillery in Ahus, Sweden, where winners will learn about mixology and vodka production. Travel, hotel and food for you and a friend will be included.
