The Beer and Cider Marketing Awards: Shortlist announced

We're proud to be the lead sponsors of the Beer and Cider Marketing Awards, an event that recognises the very best in beer and cider marketing judged by leading on and off trade operators, beer journalists, bloggers and award-winning marketeers.

Ahead of the awards ceremony on Septemeber the 21st, our Beer, Cider and Soft Drinks Category Manager, Justin Wylde has worked with his fellow judges to whittle down the entries. Creating a shortlist of the best of the best.

Justin said of the awards: “We are pleased to support the Beer and Cider Marketing Awards with Boutique Beers for the third year running. This superb event showcases the best of beer and cider marketing and shares our passion and commitment to these excellent drinks. Marketing is not just billboards and hashtags. It's creating experiences, educating and celebrating all that is good in beer and cider, to capture the imagination and reach new audiences.

Without further ado, here's the shortlist in full:

The chairman of judges and co-founder of the Beer Marketing Awards, Pete Brown, said:, “The landscape of beer and cider marketing is changing rapidly. What was once best practice no longer is. When you see all the entries together – from multinational brewing companies and giant cider brands, through regional breweries to microbrewers and small scale cideries – all the judges learned a hell of a lot and we can’t wait to share this learning and insight at the awards evening and afterwards.

Entries this year were up 20 per cent on last year, Fron the category winners, the Best Beer Marketer and Best Cider Marketer will be chosen, and from these an overall Grand Prix winner will be announced. There will also be an award for ‘Outstanding Individual Contribution”, which will highlight the person who, in the minds of the awards organisers, has had the most impact in the way beer is marketed in the UK.
